      The geographical location and political situation made a great significance to Yanbian region. In this study, I tried to explore the actual condition by analyzing the history of the Evening School of Foreign Language and the Korean Translation Center, consulting the files of the Archives of Yanbian, Korean Autonomous Prefecture. In november 1914, the Republic of China established the Evening School of Foreign Language, which trained interpreters, and taught Japanese, Russian and Korean. In 1916, the Republic of China established the Korean Translation Center, which taught Korean, Chinese and Japanese, and graduates worked in the institutions of the prefectures of Yanjidao. Thus, this study revealed that the Republic of China actively established the school of interpretation at that time to achieve the political stability.
