황순원 소설에서의 모성성과 훼손된 아동이미지 연구 -「별」, 「왕모래」, 「안개구름끼다」를 중심으로- = A Study on Maternal Love and Damaged Child Image of Hwang Sun Won`s Novels -With Emphasis on "Stars", "Coarse Sand" and "Under a Stratus"-

국문 초록 (Abstract)

황순원은 한국 문단에서 중간파적인 입장을 고수하는 이력과 문학세계를 갖고 있는 작가이다. 그러나 황순원은 현실과 유리된 예술지상주의자는 아니다. 황순원의 주요 작품 연보를 그 제작 시기와 연관시켜 볼 때 그가 항상 당대의 역사와 사회적 상황에 민감하게 반응하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 그리고 이러한 사실들이 아동을 대상으로 하고 있는 소설에도 드러나고 있다. 황순원이 작가로서 현실에 대한 적극적 저항을 할 수 없었던 당대의 내외적 조건이 그로 하여금 부정적인 현실을 파국적으로 드러낼 수 있는 방법으로써 가장 순수한 ‘아동’을 훼손된 이미지로 전환시켰던 것으로 보인다. 별 , 왕모래 , 안개구름끼다 를 기반으로 훼손된 아동이미지를 통해 전달 하려고 한 작가의식을 연구하려고 한다. 아동은 한국만의 역사적 상황에 따라 점점 더 동심이 철저하게 파괴되는 것으로 드러나고 있다. 이 세 소설의 아동은 모두 9살부터 모성성을 찾는다. 황순원 소설에서 모성성은 다층적으로 해석될 여지를 갖고 있다. 황순원 소설에서의 모성성을 찾는 아동들은 고아의식을 드러냄과 동시에 정주하기 위해 절대적인 모성성을 찾아 헤맨다. 그러나 아동들은 기다려온 모성성을 만나지 못했을 때 절대적인 믿음과는 반대로 비틀어지고 위태롭고 위악적인 죽음의 양상을 보여준다. 이는 모성성으로 감싸 안을 수 없는 인간 세계가 얼마나 황폐할 수 있는지를 단적으로 보여주는 것이라고 할 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Hwang Sun Won is a writer whose career and literature view is to keep the standpoint of neutral in the Korean literary world, but is never a member of the art for art school isolated from the reality. It is known that the chronological record of Hwang Sun Won`s main works is connected with its own working time, he always shows a sensible reaction to that time`s history and social circumstance, and of course, such kind of facts a exposed in his works of which the object are children. Because Hwang Sun Won is as the standing point of the writer under that time`s internal condition not to have him offer a positive resistence to the reality, he attempted to transfer the purest juveniles to the damaged image by means of an arrangement for him to catastrophically disclose the negative reality. Eye try to study his consciousness as writer to show through the damaged juvenile image on the base of his works as like "Stars", "Coarse Sand" and " Under a stratus". It is shown that children`s innocence have been thoroughly destructed in accordance with the Korean historical situation. As well-known, all the children in these 3 works have searched the maternal love since 9 years old. The maternal love shown in Hwang Sun Won`s works has some rooms to be interpreted by multi-level. All the children to look the maternal love for in his works do not only disclose the identification of orphan by themselves but are also wandering here and there to look an absolute maternal love for to have their own fixed stay. However, the children, when they don`t have a chance to meet the maternal love they hope to have, are driven to the contrary phase to show they are crooked, hazardous, and severely slander. It is concluded that they show directly how much the human world not to cover with the wonderful maternal love can be devastated.
