Three-dimensional models are extensively used in the wide area of applications including computer graphics, movies, animation, design and manufacturing. In most of the cases, we represent objects in real life or create the appearance of imaginary objects using 3D modeling tools in computer. In the process of modeling such objects, a certain level expertise for using 3D modeling program is required. Novice users including children would usually encounter difficulties in understanding, modeling and spatial recognition in three dimensions when they try to use such typical 3D modeling tools. In order to provide a simpler but rough interface to 3D modeling tools, we propose a method that enables 3D computer modeling by simply assembling various types of physical blocks. In our approach, proximity sensors are embedded in the blocks to detect assembly status of physical model. ZigBee technology is used for the communication between assembled objects and computer. In this study, we propose a system that supports multiple types of block and wireless communication.
