IPA 분석을 통한 대학생의 취업역량 요구도 분석 = Analysis of Educational Needs on College Students’ Career Competency through IPA Analysis

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대학생의 취업역량 교육에 대한 요구를 분석하여 자신의 진로를 위해 필요한 역량을 파악하역 자신의 미래를 위한 구직활동에 도움을 주고자 한다. 대학생들의 취업역량의 12가지 지표를 바탕으로 충북지역 17개 대학의 1,225명을 대상으로 취업역량에 대한 IPA분석과 Borich 요구도 분석을 진행하였다.
연구결과, 대학생들의 취업역량에 대한 중요도와 성취도 간의 IPA분석을 통해 ‘직무관련 자격증’의 지표가 가장 집중관리해야 할 요소로 나타났으며, 학업성적이 가장 과잉영역에 속하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 취업역량의 교육요구도의 우선순위를 파악한 결과, 직무관련 자격증이 1순위, 직무관련 경험이 2순위, 외국어능력이 3순위, 대외활동 경험이 4순위의 우선순위를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 각 계열별로 차이를 분석한 결과, 자연과학계열은 다른 계열에 비해 ‘전공지식’이 3순위로 중요하게 나타난 반면, 인문사회계열은 10순위로 낮은 우선순위를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 자연과학계열은 ‘학업성적’이 7순위를 차지하는 것으로 나타난 반면, 인문사회, 공학 및 예체능 계열은 12순위로 나타났다.
본 연구는 대학생들의 취업에 도움을 줄 수 있는 역량개발의 방향성을 제시하는 데 도움을 주고자 한다. 자신의 구직활동을 위해 필요한 취업역량이 무엇인지 파악하고, 이를 학생들의 진로교육에 반영한 교육에 변화가 필요하다는 것을 의미한다.

This study aims to analyze the need for employment competency education for college students, helping them identify the competencies required for their careers and assisting them in future employment activities. The research was conducted on 1,225 students from 17 universities in the Chungbuk region, using 12 indicators of university students' employment capabilities. Both IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis) and Borichi needs analysis were employed.
The results of the study revealed that, through IPA analysis, the factor requiring the most management attention in terms of the gap between importance and achievement in students' employment capabilities was the "job-related qualifications" indicator. The priorities for educational needs based on employment competencies were identified as follows: job-related qualifications ranked first, job-related experience ranked second, foreign language skills ranked third, and extracurricular activity experience ranked fourth.
In terms of differences across academic majors, it was found that in the natural sciences field, "specialized knowledge" ranked third in importance compared to other fields, while in the liberal arts and social sciences, it ranked tenth, showing a lower priority. Furthermore, in the natural sciences, "academic performance" ranked seventh, while in the humanities, social sciences, engineering, and arts and physical education fields, it ranked twelfth.
This study emphasizes the need for educational programs that enhance students' competencies in areas such as job qualifications, practical experience, and foreign language proficiency, and highlights the importance of developing tailored educational programs for different academic fields.
