제11차 WCC 총회 주제 분석과 개혁주의 시각에서의 평가 = Analysis Of The Theme Of The 11th WCC General Assembly And Evaluation From A Reformed Perspective

The 11th General Assembly of the WCC set the theme “The love of Christ leads the world to reconciliation and unity.” After setting the topic, a reflection on the theme was written, and 93 workshop topics were set and discussed during the General Assembly. At the end of the General Assembly, the Unity Statement was issued, and four statements and minutes were announced.
Analyzing these documents, the 11th WCC General Assembly inherited the traditional missionary view of Missio Dei. The object of Christ's love is primarily the world. However, the world that Christ loves is not a world that needs to be saved from sin, but a world that requires reconciliation and unity due to conflict and injustice. So, the themes of the 93 workshops discussed how to lead conflicts between religions and within societies and nations to reconciliation and unity. And in the four statements and minutes, it was demanded that the conflicts and wars facing the world be led to reconciliation and unity. And the Unity Statement issued on the last day emphasizes that the love of Christ seeks to lead the church toward reconciliation and unity in order to bring about reconciliation and unity in the world. As can be seen from this analysis, the 11th WCC General Assembly is interested in the reconciliation and unity of the world according to Missio Dei's missionary view. But this analysis clearly shows that it has little interest in man's salvation from sin and his reconciliation with God. As can be seen from this analysis, it is clear that the 11th WCC General Assembly is interested in the reconciliation and unity of the world according to Missio Dei's missionary view.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

WCC 11차 총회는 “그리스도의 사랑이 세상을 화해와 일치로 이끄신다”는 주제를 설정하였다. 주제를 설정한 후에 주제 해설문을 작성하였고, 93개 워크숍 주제를 설정하여 총회 기간 중에 논의하였다. 총회의 마지막에 교회 일치선언문을 발표하였고, 4개 성명서와 의사록을 공표하였다.
이러한 문서들을 분석해 볼 때, 11차 WCC 총회는 전통적인 미시오 데이의 선교관을 그대로 계승하였다. 그리스도의 사랑의 대상이 일차적으로 세상이다. 그런데 그리스도가 사랑하는 세상은 죄에서 구원받아야 할 세상이 아니라 갈등과 불의가 지배하여 화해와 일치가 요구되는 세상이다. 그래서 93개 워크숍의 주제들은 종교간의 갈등, 사회와 국가 안에서의 갈등을 화해와 일치로 이끌 것을 논의하였다. 그리고 4개 성명서와 의사록에서 세계가 당면하고 있는 국가들 간의 갈등과 전쟁을 화해와 일치로 이끌 것을 요구하였다. 그리고 마지막 날에 발표한 교회 일치선언문은 그리스도의 사랑이 세상의 화해와 일치를 가져오기 위하여 교회를 화해와 일치로 이끌고자 한다는 점을 강조한다. 이러한 분석에서 볼 수 있는 바와 같이 11차 WCC 총회는 미시오 데이의 선교관에 따라 세상의 화해와 일치에 관심이 있지, 죄로부터 인간의 구원과 하나님과의 화해에는 별로 관심이 없다는 것을 분명하게 보여준다.
