      In this study, I investigated the antecedent factor of job engagement, the effect of job engagement on proactive behavior and organizational citizenship behavior. Also we verified the mediating effect on the relationship between the antecedent factor and job behavior. The purpose of this study is to verify; (1) personal resource(positive psychological capital) are the antecedent factors of job engagement by identifying the factor that causes employees’ job engagement; (2) employees’ job engagement has an influence on their proactive behavior and organizational citizenship behavior; (3) employees’ job engagement a mediating effect on the relationship between the antecedents of job engagement and proactive behavior and organizational citizenship behavior.
      To achieve the purpose of this study, a employee and their supervisor paired(dyad) survey was performed for the empirical analysis, and the total of 648 surveys(324 Pairs) was used. The results were as follows; (1) personal resource(positive psychological capital) as the antecedent of job engagement were positively related to job engagement. ; (2) employees’ job engagement were shown to be positively correlated to their proactive behavior and organizational citizenship behavior.; (3) employees’ job engagement had the mediating effect between the antecedent factors and their proactive behavior and organizational citizenship behavior. That is employees’ job engagement was partially mediated the relationship between personal resource(positive psychological capital) and job behavior(proactive behavior and organizational citizenship behavior).
