대학 캠퍼스 내 정원 인식에 대한 요인 구조화 및 이용 만족도와의 관계 분석

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 정원에 대한 인식의 유형을 파악하고, 이용 만족도와의 관계를 분석하여 정원 이용 만족도 제고를 위한 정원 조성 방안을 제언하고자 실시되었다. 이를 위해 G 대학교 캠퍼스 정원을 이용하고 있는 이용자들을 대상으로 인구통계학적 특성, 정원 인식, 정원 이용 만족도 등에 대하여 설문하였다. 이용자들은 정원의 면적, 식물 및 햇빛의 양, 식물 배치 등에 있어 높은 만족감을 가지고 있었으나, 프라이버시 측면에서는 만족감이 낮았다. 인식의 유형은 ‘정원 구성 요소’, ‘정원 이용’, ‘사적 공간’ 세 가지 요인으로 확인되었고, 각 요인들은 세부적인 만족도 중 ‘흥미도와 독창성’, ‘시각적인 아름다움’과 정적 상관을 가지고 있었다. 또한, 정원 이용 만족도에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 정원에 대한 인식은 식물의 배치와 관련된 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, 정원 이용 만족도 제고를 위해 정원 내 흥미롭고 독창적인 요소를 추가하고, 시각적 아름다움을 자극할 수 있는 식물들을 도입하기를 제언해본다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was conducted to identify the type of recognition with the garden, analyze the relationship with use satisfaction, and propose garden creation measures to increase garden use satisfaction. For this purpose, users using the G University campus garden were surveyed about their demographic characteristics, recognition of the garden, and satisfaction with using the garden. Users were highly satisfied with the area of the garden, the amount of plants and sunlight, and plant arrangement, but were low in terms of privacy. The type of perception was identified as three factors: 'garden elements', 'garden use', and 'private space', and each factor had a positive correlation with 'interest and originality' and 'visual beauty' among the detailed satisfaction levels. In addition, the recognition of the garden that had the greatest impact on satisfaction with garden use was found to be related to the arrangement of plants. Therefore, to improve the satisfaction of using the garden, we suggest adding interesting and original elements to the garden and introducing plants that can stimulate visual beauty.
