평균대 운동 프로그램 참여가 정신지체아동의 주의집중력향상에 미치는 영향 = The Influence that the Balance Bar Exercise has on the Improvement of Attentiveness of Mentally Handicapped Children

The goal of this study is to know whether the gaze concentration and the attentiveness are improved in case that one makes the mentally handicapped children do the balance bar exercise during the constant period and to suggest the method that the gaze concentration and attentiveness are improved. In this article, researchers execute the test of maturity degree toward society and the intelligence test to 30 students at J school for the mentally handicapped children who became the experimental subject.
(1) Experimental Subject : Classification was made into A group over 8years old under 10 years old, B group over 11 years old-under 13 years old and C group over 14 years old under 16 years old by age, about whole 30 mentally handicapped children.
(2) Experimental Method : Before and after making the students do the trampoline exercise, by referring to the evaluation method of gaze concentration of Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, this researcher measured the gaze concentration and the gaze fitting.
(3) Experimental Period : From the 1st of July in 2002 to the 31st of september in 2002(for 60 days).
Through this result, the time of gaze concentration and the number of time of gaze fitting of the mentally handicapped children were improved through balance bar exercise clearly. Reserchers extracted the following concrete conclusion. 1) To the mentally handicapped children, the gaze concentration and the attentiveness are improved clearly after trampoline exercise than before trampoline exercise. 2) In the technique ability of hands(putting in figure, +1.12), male babies than female babies are improved quickly. It is considered that the development and systematization of the application object of the stimulus of sense of equilibrium, the stimulus method which is suitable for the subject, the stimulus period, the instrument of sense of equilibrium and the cure program and necessary through the continuous clinical study in the future.
