아동의 추상미술 이해에 관한 연구 : 미술교과서 참고자료 분석을 통하여

국문 초록 (Abstract)

추상미술에 대한 이해는 아동만이 아니라 성인에게도 난해하게 다가오는 인간 정신문화에 대한 이해라고 할 수 있다. 초등미술교육에서의 추상미술 작품 활용의 궁극적 목적은 인간 정신의 변화에 대한 이해를 통한 아동들의 성장 발달에 있다. 그리고 이러한 목적들이 제대로 실행되기 위해서는 미술, 교육, 그리고 학습자의 정신적 육체적 성장 발달에 대한 실제적인 지식을 필요로 한다. 왜냐하면 현대미술은 일반적인 주제 표현을 위한 재료사용 그리고 기술과 같은 시각적 요소들에 대한 변화보다는 미술의 본질을 새로운 차원에서 구현하려는 고차적 정신적 변화를 기저로 하고 있기 때문이다. 본 논문은 미술교과서에 제시된 추상미술 작품 활용에 대한 문제점들을 교육적 시각에서 분석함으로써 초등미술교육 목적 달성에 부합될 대안을 마련하는데 그 목적이 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The main goal of the use of modern artworks for the elementary school art will be to develop both children's aesthetic expressive ability and aesthetic eyes with attitude through the understand of alt. To be achieved this goal properly however it absolutely needs some sophisticated knowledge on art, education, and learner's developmental stages. There has been an ongoing misunderstanding about the fact mentioned above, which prevents the use of modem artworks from a proper achievement of education goal in Korean elementary school art education.
The main purpose of this paper is to provide alternatives both in content and methods by a comparatively analysis of abstract-oriented artworks used in the art textbooks along with educational goals for each lesson.
Methods of how to simplify, transform, and re-place objects are taught in order to understand abstract artworks, and for the given educational purposes. However, such procedures is not proper for young students. Because Understanding of abstract artworks not begin with copying or looking methods and procedures abstract artists used but with understanding of abstract artist's idea of why they express objects like that. In cases of abstract art and conceptual art, it is really important for teachers to understand that learning of how to understand the ideas in artworks is much more important than learning of how to draw and to use methods. Along with this understanding we, educators, are able to move forward to the achievement of the given educational goals.
