학교 내 안전교육에 대한 초·중·고등학교 교사들의 인식 차이 = A Comparison of Teacher Perception of Safety Education across Different Types of Korean Schools

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 2015년 한국의 학교 안에서 이루어지고 있는 안전교육과 학교 내 안전에 대한 초·중·고등학교 교원의 인식을 알아보기 위하여 이루어 졌다. 연구에 참여한 9,842명의 초·중·고 교원 중 결측값을 Listwise 방법을 통해 제거 한 후 7,775명의 정보만이 본 연구에 사용되었다. 구체적으로 본 연구는 학교 내에서 일어나는 사고에 대한 교원들의 태도, 학교 내 안전교육의 필요성, 학교 내 안전교육을 위해 정보를 얻는 통로에 대해 분석하였다. 본 연구 결과 초등학교 교원은 중·고등학교 교원들보다 학교 내 안전사고는 덜 심각하다고 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타며 남자교원보다 여자교원은 학교내 안전에 대해 더 민감하게 반응하는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 초·중·고 교원 모두 학교 교육과정에서 안전교육에 대한 필요성은 공감하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 안전교육에 대한 인식은 학교급이 올라갈수록 높아지고 교원들은 안전교육은 학교 교과과정에서 다른 교과목과 마찬가지로 개별교과로써의 필요성에 공감하는 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was conducted to examine how teachers at elementary, middle, high school perceived safety at school and safety education performed in Korean school system. Among 9,842 participants in this study, information about 7,775 participants was considered. More specifically, the current study was to analyze attitude to accident at school, necessity of safety education at school, ways of obtaining materials needed in safety education. The results obtained from analysis indicated that teachers at the elementary school was perceived safety issues less seriously compared to other levels of teachers. In addition, compared to female teachers, male teachers considered safety issues at school less seriously across all levels of schools. However, teachers across all the levels agreed to have safety related education at school. However, In parallel with this line, results obtained from the logistic regression indicated that as higher recognition of safety education and higher levels of school increased, possibility of being safety education as independent subject was increased.
