Description of immature stages of the southern pink moth, Pyrausta inornatalis (Fernald, 1885) (Lepidoptera: Crambidae)

In Japan, the southern pink moth, Pyrausta inornatalis (Fernald, 1885) (Lepidoptera, Crambidae), which isa pest of Salvia plants, has been recorded as an invasive species from America. In order to make possiblethe correct identification of the immature stages of P. inornatalis, their morphology is described andillustrated.
