다문화시대 문화 중개자로서 디아스포라의 가능성 연구 = 문화 네트워크 구축을 위한 실천적 준거

국문 초록 (Abstract)

코리안 디아스포라에 내재한 민족적 정체성과 노마드적 정체성의 공존이 오늘날 네트워크 시대의 매우 큰 가능성이라고 본다. 재외한인은 끊임없는 모국에로의 회귀를 꿈꾼다. 동시에 세계인으로서 성공 가능성을 점치며, 끝없이 이주한다. 코리안 디아스포라에 내재한 ‘민족정체성 ⇔ 정주국(사회) 국민으로서의 정체성 ⇔ 세계인으로서의 정체성’은 보다 적극적 견지에서 ‘충분히 활용되어야 할 자원’으로 인식되어야 할 것이다. 여기에서 자원은 코리안 디아스포라가 전지구적 차원에서 문화적 중개인으로 활동할 수 있는 가능성이다.
이 경우 그를 이끌어줄 확실한 목표는 무엇보다도 문화네트워크를 통한 문화적 콘텐츠의 확대재생산이 될 것이다. 이것이 전 지구적으로 전파 혹은 교류되면서 네트워크의 개방성, 상호작용성을 통해 보다 확대된 창발성(emergence)을 갖게 되며, 그것이 결국 다문화 사회에서 문화다양성을 추구하면서도 각 지역의 창조적 역량이 세계사회에 통용되는 인류 공통의 목적을 이룰 수 있을 것으로 보인다.
이 경우 가장 문제가 되는 것은 네트워크로서 상호 접촉하고자 하는 문화의 특성을 읽어낼 수 있는 쌍방향적 인식의 폭이며, 실천적‘상호 존중’이다. 특히 각 지역적으로 형성된 "연성적 블록(soft block)"으로서‘문화적 결속기재(geo-governance mechanism)"가 전체 네트워크를 조절해야 한다는 대전제가 필요하다. 여기에서 결속기재는 국가적 신념이나 민족적 이해로서 종속적 시스템이 아닌 개별적 속성들이 수평적으로 만나 이루어지는 비제도권의 시스템을 말한다.
이 네트워크는 각 지역의 자발적, 주체적, 유기체적 활동이 횡적?수평적 교차를 통해 이루어지며 거대한 망상 속에 자체적 생명을 갖고 움직이는 프랙탈(fractal) 구조를 띤다. 이는 쉼 없이 움직이면서 새로운 구조를 만들어내며 그러면서도 흩어지지 않는 강한 결속력을 갖는다. 이것이 문화적 다양성을 확장하며 프랙탈 구조로 형성되는 네트워크의 가능성이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

"Coexistence between national identity and nomadic identity in the Korean diaspora" has a very big possibility in the network age today. Overseas Koreans are constantly dreaming of returning home. At the same time, they tell their fortune of the possibility for the success as a cosmopolitan and move without the end. "national identity ⇔ identity as a person of fixed country(society) ⇔ identity as a global person" is necessary to be recognized as a "sufficient utility resource" from more positive view. In this respect, the resource is the possibility of Korean diaspora which can take into action as a cultural intermediary on the global level.
In this case, above all, the definite goal will lead it is expansive reproduction of cultural contents through cultural networks. This helps have more expansive emergence through the openness and interaction of networks by transmitting or interchanging globally, and at last seek after cultural diversity in the multi-cultural society. The common purpose of human beings whose local creative ability is in use will be achieved.
In this case, the most essential problem is the realm of mutual recognition which can understand the characters of the culture that wants to make contact mutually as a network in a practical "mutual respect". Especially, the major premise that "geo-governance mechanism" has to regulate the total network as "soft block" formed in each locality is needed. Here, governance mechanism does not refer to the system such as national faith or racial understanding but the unsystematic system that consists horizontally of individual properties.
This network is being formed by each local spontaneous, independent and organic operation through the cross and horizontal intersection and has a fractal organization that moves with its own life in huge network. It makes a new organization by moving constantly and has the strong solidarity undivided. This is the possibility of network that forms the fractal organization by expanding the cultural diversity.
