작업치료 전공 학생들의 발달재활서비스 및 감각발달재활서비스 제공인력 자격인정에 대한 인식도 조사 = Investigating Occupational Therapy Students’ Awareness of Developmental Rehabilitation Services and the Accreditation of Sensory Developmental Rehabilitation Service Providers

국문 초록 (Abstract)

목적 : 작업치료 전공 학생들의 발달재활서비스 및 감각발달재활서비스 제공인력 자격인정에 대한 인식도를 조사하고 일반적 특성에 따른 차이를 확인하여 감각발달재활 분야의 연구를 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.
연구방법 : 전국 199명의 작업치료 전공 학생들을 대상으로 2022년 10월 4일부터 2022년 11월 5일까지 온라인 설문지를 통해 조사하였다. 일반적 특성과 추가문항은 빈도분석, 발달재활서비스 인식도와 감각발달재활서비스 제공인력 자격인정 인식도 문항은 빈도분석과 기술통계를 사용하였다. 일반적 특성에 따른 인식도차이를 비교하기 위해 독립표본 t-test와 one way ANOVA를 실시하였다.
결과 : 작업치료 전공 학생들의 발달재활서비스 인식도는 4.50±2.40점, 감각발달재활서비스 제공인력 자격인정 인식도는 4.22±2.55점으로 나타났다. 발달재활서비스 인식도는 학년, 아동 관련 실습 유무에서 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 감각발달재활서비스 제공인력 자격인정 인식도는 학제, 학년, 관련학과 인정 여부, 아동관련 실습 유무에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다.
결론 : 본 연구에 참여한 작업치료 전공 학생들은 지역사회에서 발달재활서비스를 제공할 의향 및 감각발달재활서비스 제공인력 자격인정을 받을 의향은 높으나 관련 인식도는 중간 수준으로 나타났다. 따라서 전문성 있는 감각발달재활서비스 제공인력 양성을 위해 학교에서는 발달재활서비스 및 감각발달재활서비스 제공인력과관련된 교육과 관련 정보를 제공하기 위한 노력이 필요함을 시사한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Objective : This study sought to explore occupational therapy students’ awareness of Developmental Rehabilitation Services (DRSs) and the certification of Sensory Developmental Rehabilitation Service Providers (SDRSPs). Moreover, it also aimed to examine the differences in students’ awareness based on general characteristics. The findings were intended to provide a foundation for research on sensory developmental rehabilitation.
Methods : An online survey was conducted among 199 occupational therapy students nationwide from October 4 to November 5, 2022.
Frequency analysis was used to assess the general characteristics and additional items. Both descriptive statistics and frequency analysis were employed to assess the students’ awareness of DRSs and SDRSP certification. Any differences in the students’ awareness based on their general characteristics were examined using t-tests and an analysis of variance.
Results : The students’ awareness of DRSs was moderate (4.50 ± 2.40), while their awareness of SDRSP certification was also moderate (4.22 ± 2.55). The awareness of DRSs varied significantly based on the students’ academic year and child-related practice experience. Similarly, the awareness of SDRSP certification differed significantly based on the students’ academic program, academic year, recognition by the related department, and child-related practice experience.
Conclusion : The occupational therapy students expressed a strong intention to provide DRSs and become certified as SDRSPs. However, their awareness levels were moderate. These findings emphasize the importance of educational efforts and the provision of relevant information about DRSs and SDRSP certification in universities to foster the development of competent SDRSPs.
