목적 : 본 연구의 목적은 시각장애 근로자를 대상으로 보조공학을 체계적으로 적용해보고 그 효과를 알아보는 것이다.
연구방법 : 서울 소재 사업체에 근무하는 시각장애 근로자 2명을 대상으로 Job Accommodation Network(JAN) 의 보조공학 적용 5단계에 따라 보조공학을 적용하였다. 보조공학 적용 효과를 파악하기 위해 적용 전과 후에 Canadian Occupational Performance Measure(COPM), Satisfaction with Life Scale(SWLS), 자아인식검사, 자아수용검사를 실시하여 결과를 분석하였다.
결과 : 보조공학 적용 후 작업 수행 능력, 삶의 질 모두 증가되는 결과가 나타났으며 자아인식과 자아수용검사 문항 일부에서도 긍정적인 변화가 나타났다.
결론 : JAN의 5단계 보조공학 적용은 시각장애 근로자의 작업 수행능력과 삶의 질, 자아 개념 증진에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 향후 시각 장애인의 취업과 직업 유지 증진을 위한 다양한 보조공학 적용 연구가 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Objective : The purpose of this study was to identify the impact of assistive technology throughout system atic application method among employee with vision impairments.
Methods : The subjects were 2 vision impaired workers who had worked in Seoul area companies. Job Accommodation Network(JAN) Assistive technology application method, Canadian Occupational Performance Measure(COPM), Satisfaction with Life Scale(SWLS), Self Concept Test and Self Acceptance Test are used for Outcome measurement of assistive technology.
Results : The following are the analyzed results of the study. COPM, SWLS, Self Concept Test and Self
AcceptanceTest score were differences after assistive technology application.
Conclusion : Assistive technology influence on occupational performance, quality of life and self concept with vision impairment worker. In future studies, outcome measurement method and assistive technology service method should be developed.
