This paper is a theoretical study of child welfare. Child welfare is sub-category of social welfare. Child welfare is a service provision to solve demand of children and their problems. Child welfare is influenced by core family. family dissolution. and peer group.
Accordingly, this paper examined the followings: first, the concept of children's welfare. the second. the importance and problems of children's welfare in modem times. third. the development of children's welfare programs. fourth. research approaches to children's welfare. and fifth. children's welfare organizations. In addition. as a research method this paper focused on theoretical descriptions through the study of the literature on this subject.
