고관절 활액막 연골종증에 대한 관절경적 치료 = Arthroscopic Treatment in Synovial Chondromatosis of the Hip

국문 초록 (Abstract)

목적: 고관절에 발생한 활액막 연골종증에서 관절경을 이용한 치료의 유용성을 알아보고자 한다 대상 및 방법: 1999년 12월부터 2003년 2월까지 고관절에 발생한 활액막 연골종증으로 진단받고 관절경을 이용한 유리체 제거술과 활액막 절제술을 시행한 환자들 중 1년 이상 추시가 가능하였던 6명(6예)의 환자를 대상으로 하였다. 수술 후 평가는 Harris Hip Score (HHS)를 이용하였다. 결과: 대부분의 예에서 만족할 만한 결과를 보였으며, 특이한 합병증을 보인 예는 없었다. 환자들은 수술 후 평균 2일째부터 체중부하 보행이 가능하였으며 평균 4.5일 후 퇴원이 가능하였다. HHS는 술전평균 40점에서 최종 추시 시 평균 90점으로 향상되었다. 결론: 고관절에 발생한 활액막 연골종증에서 관절경을 이용한 유리체 제거술과 활액막 절제술은 비교적 간단하면서 환자들의 빠른 보행과 퇴원이 가능하고, 수술 후 만족스러운 결과를 나타내는 효과적인 수술법이라고 생각한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Purpose: We wished to evaluate the usefulness of arthroscopy in synovial chondromatosis at the hip joint. Materials and Methods: Six patients were diagnosed with synovial chondromatosis and they underwent synovectomy with loose body removal using arthroscopy. All the patients were followed up for at least one year. The result were assessed using the Haris Hip Score (HHS). Results: Most of the patient had satisfactory result, wand there were no surgical complications. The mean HHS score was significantly improved from 40 points to 90 points at the last follow up. Conclusion: The arthroscopic synovectomy and loose body removal is a simple and effective procedure to treat synovial chondromatosis of the hip joint.
