니체의 칸트철학 비판

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은, 자주 간과되고 있지만, 칸트의 철학이야말로 우리가 니체와 근대철학의 관계를 이해하는데 있어 매우 중요한 철학적 맥락을 제공하고 있다는 사실을 보여주기 위해 니체의 사상을 칸트의 형이상학 비판의 맥락과 연결시켜 고찰하고자 한다. 칸트에 대한 니체의 비판이 우연적이거나 일방적인 논박을 위한 것이었다는 기존의 인식과는 달리 본 논문은 니체의 사상은 - 특히 “예술가의 형이상학”이란 맥락에서 보았을 때 - 칸트의 형이상학비판이 직면한 한계와 모순을 극복하려는 의도에서 출발하였다는 점을 강조하고 있다.
니체에게 형이상학이란 무엇인가? 또한 그에게 형이상학의 극복이란 무엇을 의미하는 것인가? 이러한 질문에 답하기 위해 우리는 먼저 칸트가 자신의 형이상학 비판을 어떻게 인식하였는지 검토한 후, 니체는 칸트의 형이상학 비판의 의미를 어떻게 해석하고 이해했는지 살펴보고, 끝으로 칸트에서 절정에 이르렀다고 하는 서구 형이상학의 이원적 성격에 대해 니체가 어떻게 비판을 하고 있는지 고찰해보도록 하겠다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The aim of this essay is to situate Nietzsche's thinking in the context of Kant's critique of metaphysics in order to show that Kant's philosophy provides one of the most important, but frequently overlooked, philosophical contexts in which Nietzsche's relation to modern philosophy can be most fruitfully understood. I want to show contrary to widespread belief, that Nietzsche's remarks about Kant are neither simply polemical nor incidental, but rather, that Nietzsche's thinking, understood in terms of an Artisten-Metaphysik, is born out of an attempt to think through and overcome the aporiai of Kant's critique of metaphysics.
What do we mean by Nietzsche's overcoming of metaphysics? What do we mean by metaphysics? In order to answer these questions it is first necessary to understand how Kant conceived of his original critique of metaphysics, and then examine how Nietzsche interpreted the meaning of Kant's critique and understood its implications, and then finally to show how Nietzsche developed a radical critique of the dualisitic character of Western metaphysics, which for Nietzsche reached its apotheosis with Kant.
