      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      In this paper, we have developed the testbed of the smart antenna systems for terminals, and analyzed the performance of the smart antenna system using the measurement data in real channel environments.
      After analyzing the measurement data we found out that the effect of fading can be reduced when we used four 90 degree switching beam antenna system. Therefore, the link budget can be increased from not only the beamforming gain but also the gain obtained by reducing the effect of fading by using the smart antenna technologies for terminals.
