이주홍 『사랑하는 악마』의 시공간과 등장인물에 관한 연구 : 환상성을 중심으로 = A Study of Chronotope and Character in 「Loving Demon」 of Lee, Ju Hong

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 환상성을 중심으로 이주홍의 「사랑하는 악마」의 시공간과 등장인물에 관한 연구이다. 이주홍의 「사랑하는 악마」에서 일차세계와 이차세계의 시공간 전환의 의미는 첫째, 다양한 세계의 경험을 제공해 주었다. 둘째, 일차세계에서 이차세계로의 시공간의 전환은 일차세계에서의 문제를 인식하고 해결해주는 역할을 한다. 첫째, 시공간의 전환은 입사 의식으로서의 의미를 가진다. 넷째, 시공간 전환은 주인공에게 갈등을 제시하여 판단하게 하였으며, 이로 인하여 심리변화를 이끌었다.
이주홍의 「사랑하는 악마」에서 시공간 전환에 따른 등장인물의 성격·행동 변화의 의미는 첫째, 시공간의 전환을 통해서 정미의 행동과 성격은 자아발견, 자아존중, 자아정체감을 회복하였다. 둘째, 등장인물 성격과 행동 변화는 아동에게 정서적 안정·긍정적 태도를 제시하였다.
첫째, 등장인물은 시공간의 전환을 통해 사회성 회복·타인 조망·주위사람들에게 인정받는 것으로 성격과 행동의 변화를 가져왔다. 넷째, 시공간 전환을 통해 등장인물들은 갈등과 어려운 문제를 해결해 나간다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study investigated chronotopes and characters used in 「Loving Demon」 of Lee Ju Hong.
1. Meanign of chronotopes transitions in 「Loving Demon」
1) The transition of chronotope presented varied experience. 2) The transition of chronotope presented the recognition and a solution of a problem. 3) The transition of chronotope presented the process of maturity. 4) The transition of chronotope resolved the desire. 50 The transition of chronotope gave the union of natural, love and happiness.
2. Meaning of the changes to character conduct in a person following transitions in chronotope of 「Loving Demon」
1) It was about self discovery, self respect and the recovery of self identity. 2) It was about acquisition of emotional stability, a positive attitude, courage and wisdom. 3) It was about the recovery of social characteristics and the opinion of others. 4) It was about overcoming problems and solving desires. 5) It was about the recovery of virtue.
The transitions in chronotope contributed to the realization of positive ego as well as dreams and desires for children. The fantastically creative fairy tale shows the process of how human beings erolve and advance in both the reality and fantasy worlds, which the children use to resolve his or her desires. It provides new knowledge to judge character by, and assists in the formation of habits.
The use of fantasy is promising because of its role in exposing negative reality by filtering it through a child’s perspective. Thus, creative fairy tales in which both reality and fantasy worlds are contained accumulates the experience of the self in the child. Through transitions of chronotope it would try both an inner and outer development are fostered. Through solving discord and a for the time being the problem of the child, creative fairy tales offer a wealth of educational data and a guide book for solving the growth problems of the self. Also this study provides the basic materials of fairy tales, and could cause many changes in methods and practice to those that teach children.
