중국 미술 작품에 대한 오브제 연구 = Objet Study on the Chinese art work

국문 초록 (Abstract)

중국 미술의 오브제 활용에 관한 연구는 미술사를 통해 그 의미를 살펴보면서 생태계에서 얻어지는 자연물 및 일상 생활용품이 기존의 기능과 장소를 벗어나 작가의 개성이 드러난 독창적인 형태 안에서 여러 가지 재료를 사용한 작품을 재해석하고자 한다.
21세기 오브제의 등장은 현대 미술에서 그 의미를 확장하여 살펴볼 수 있다. 고전미술은 표현 재료의 한계를 느끼게 하는데 지금의 현대 미술을 비교해 보면 새로운 재료의 확장으로 다양한 미술 작품을 감상할 수 있다. 현대 미술 작가들은 오브제를 제시함으로써 목조, 석조, 소조의 단조로웠던 전통 기법에 대한 반행위적인 방법을 선택했다고 본다. 이러한 현대 예술가들의 도전은 생활 속에서 얻어지는 일상생활용품등을 오브제 작품으로 전시하여 전통주의 작가들이 이어온 형식에 반기를 든 형식이다. 이러한 오브제 작품은 사물 자체의 의미보다는 새로운 의미를 가진 작품으로 전시되었을 때 이로써 사물이 가진 기능이 사라진다. 미술관을 찾아온 관람객들은 작품을 바라보는 시점에서 오브제에 대한 반감을 사기도 하겠지만 오브제 자체의 의미를 확장하여 바라본다면 또 다른 미술 세계를 경험하게 된다.
오브제 작품을 살펴보면, 오브제 미술의 의미를 이해하여 현대 미술 오브제 작품의 흐름을 파악하고 전통주의 작품을 존중하면서 현대의 시대적 흐름을 중심으로 해석하고자 한다. 오브제 조각은 21세기 현대 미술의 한 부분으로써 변화된 시대 흐름을 자연스럽게 이해하기가 어렵다. 그 이유는 예술가의 사고방식을 존중하면서 표현하게 된 시기가 오래되지 않았기 때문이다. 오브제 작품이 한 작품으로 인정받기 위해서 끊임없이 피어오르는 작가의 투쟁정신이 있었기 때문에 지금의 오브제 작품 표현의 장을 열게 한 것이다 오브제는 재료의 확장을 중심으로 시작하여 기존 의 전통적인 좌대를 사라지게 하거나 벽이나 바닥, 천장으로 공간을 더욱 다양하게 설치하는 방법도 제시한다. 이와 같이 현대 미술 조각은 설치 및 재료를 확대하여 새로운 작품들을 제시할 수 있는 계기를 마련하고 현대미술의 오브제 범위를 더욱 확장하고자 하였다.
