이러닝(e-Learning) 산업의 활성화 방안 : Focusing on the e-Learning Industry Promotion Act of Korea = Some Future Measures for Facilitating e-Learning Industry

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이러닝(e-Learning)은 전자적 수단, 정보통신 및 전파·방송기술을 활용하여 이루어지는 학습·교육방식으로 시·공간의 제약 및 쌍방향 지식·정보 교류가 가능하다는 점과 국가 역량 향상과 산업경쟁력을 강화시키는데 가장 필요한 고부가가치 지식산업으로 인식되고 있으나, 우리나라는 이러닝 시장이 부분적으로나마 조성되어 이와 관련한 솔루션 산업과 콘텐츠 산업도 더불어 발전하고 있으나, 전산업군으로 확산되지 못하고 있다.
이에 본 연구에서는 이러닝 산업의 의의와 파급효과, 국내외 정책추진 현황, 국내 이러닝 성공 사례, 이러닝 산업의 문제점 및 활성화 방안을 구체적으로 제시함으로써 IT 및 전파·방송기술을 활용하여 이루어지는 동 산업을 제도적·정책적으로 육성하여 전통적인 교육방식을 인터넷 등을 기반으로 한 수요자 중심의 교육으로 전환하도록 하고, 이를 통하여 고부가가치 창출·지식경쟁력의 강화 및 지식의 대중화에 一助하고자 한다.

e-Learning means using new multimedia technologies and the Internet to improve the quality of learning by facilitating access to resources and services as well as remote exchanges and collaboration. This environment, originally developed to support the knowledge and growth of individuals and communities, is being diverted by marketing interests.
We give an analysis of goals in education and the requirements to community platforms. Three objectives for e-learning ; First, Help the individual to realize his or her full potential and lead a happy and fruitful life. Second, Reduce the disparities and inequalities between individuals or groups. Finally, Ensure that the skills available meet the needs of business and employers.
