국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 현대미술에서 나타나는 키덜티즘의 조형적 특징과 요소들을 주목하고 키덜티즘의 발생 배경 및 사회･문화적 특징의 이해와 더불어 미술 분야의 영역에서 시도하는 회화적 표현의 기법과 의미에 관하여 연구자 본인의 작품을 중심으로 설명하고 해석하는 데에 목적이 있다.
먼저 키덜티즘의 사회현상을 이해하기 위해 키덜트의 의미와 발생 요인을 알아본다. 그 문화적 특징을 이해하고 현대미술에서 보여지는 키덜티즘에 대한 연구를 수행하고 캐릭터의 표현과 의미, 팝아트의 차용, 그라피티 등 본 연구자의 작품들을 중심으로 다양한 측면에서 분석함으로써 키덜티즘의 조형적 특징을 이해하고 해석한다.
본 연구는 사회 전반에 나타나는 키덜티즘의 확산과 문화적 영향 속에서 미술 작품이 현대인에게 어떻게 창의성과 정서적 안정을 회복하도록 영향을 주는지 탐구한다. 본 논문에서는 키덜티즘을 반영한 미술작품이 유년시절의 동심을 되살리는 장치로 활용됨으로써 현대인의 정서적 안정과 감정적 회복을 가능하게 할 수 있다는 가설에 기반했다. 따라서 본 연구는 예술 작품에 보여지는 키덜티즘의 조형 표현에 담겨진 의미와 창의적인 요소, 그리고 이러한 작품이 현대인에게 미치는 긍정적 영향을 탐구한다. 또한, 전통적 재료와 표현기법을 바탕으로 고유한 형식을 계승하고 내용적으로는 현대적이면서도 한국적 특성을 함께 담아내는 방법을 찾는다.
키덜티즘의 회화적 표현에 관한 연구는 키덜티즘을 기반으로 캐릭터의 이미지 형성을 위한 이론적 토대를 마련함과 동시에, 미술교육, 심리치료, 예술치료 등 다양한 분야에서 실제적인 적용을 위한 기초 자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 연구 결과는 새로운 예술적 접근법을 개발하고 창작에 대한 다양성 확립 및 현대인의 감성과 자아의 회복을 촉진하기 위한 근거로 사용될 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to focus on the formative characteristics and elements of Kidultism in contemporary art, to understand the background and social and cultural characteristics of Kidultism, and to explain and interpret the techniques and meanings of pictorial expression in the field of art, focusing on the researcher’s own works.
To understand the social phenomenon of Kidultism, this study would first examine the meaning of Kidult and the factors that led to its occurrence. This study would understand its cultural characteristics, conduct a study on Kidultism in contemporary art and analyze various aspects such as the expression and meaning of characters, borrowing from pop art, and graffiti, focusing on the researcher’s works.
This study explores how artworks can influence contemporary people to restore creativity and emotional stability under the spread and cultural influence of Kidultism in society. This dissertation is based on the hypothesis that artworks reflecting Kidultism can enable emotional stability and emotional recovery of contemporary people by being utilized as a device to revive the innocence of childhood. Thus, this study explores the meanings and creative elements contained in the formative expressions of Kidultism in artworks and the positive impacts of these works on modern people. It also finds ways to inherit unique forms based on traditional materials and expression techniques and to incorporate Korean characteristics while being contemporary in content.
The research on the pictorial representation of Kidultism is expected to provide a theoretical foundation for the formation of character images based on Kidultism, as well as a basis for practical applications in various fields such as art education, psychotherapy, and art therapy. The research results will be used as a basis for developing new artistic approaches, establishing diversity in creation, and promoting the recovery of modern people's sensitivity and self.
