Most people will agree with the opinion that the government's various support policies and investments in funds are necessary for the sustainable growth of start-up companies. It can also be confirmed through various preceding studies that support projects and investments have a positive effect on the growth of start-up companies. However, the factors necessary for the sustainable growth and survival of start-up companies need to be identified from an internal factor or an internal perspective, not only from external support. Representative internal factors include managers and members. In this study, the internal factors necessary for the growth and survival of start-up companies were set as the leader's inclusive leadership, which is explained by openness, accessibility, and ease, and the psychological perspective of start-up company members, self-efficacy, and organizational commitment. In addition, multiple regression analysis was conducted to confirm the direct relationship between inclusive leadership, self-efficacy, and organizational commitment, and mediating effect analysis was conducted to confirm the indirect relationship between inclusive leadership, self-efficacy, and organizational commitment.
To analyze the relationship of variables and test hypotheses, a survey was conducted on members of start-up companies under 7 years since establishment located in Daegu and Gyeongbuk area, and a total of 209 questionnaires were used. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, it was found that the inclusive leadership of the leader had a significant positive (+) effect on the self-efficacy of members of the start-up company. In other words, it means that the leader's listening to new ideas or problem situations, accessibility including discussion on problem-solving methods, members' requests, and ease of discussion are helpful for members' confidence in their tasks and strong affirmation of their abilities. Second, it was confirmed that inclusive leadership had a positive (+) effect on the organizational commitment of members. The openness, accessibility, and ease of leaders experienced or perceived by members mean that members' commitment to the organization is strengthened. Third, the self-efficacy of members has a positive (+) effect on organizational commitment. Confidence and belief in the task reinforce commitment to the organization. Fourth, self-efficacy has a mediating effect between inclusive leadership and organizational commitment. In other words, it indicates that inclusive leadership increases self-efficacy, which in turn promotes members' organizational commitment. In summary, it can be said that the inclusive leadership of start-up managers creates positive results of members of the organization. In other words, inclusive leader ratio has a positive effect on the satisfaction of members of the organization. Start-up company managers confirm that the leader's actions can affect the performance of members, and suggest that efforts are needed to improve or reinforce them.
