This study was conducted on 230 university students in Gwangju Metropolitan City to check nutrition labeling information according to their satisfaction with kiosk ordering service, and statistical analysis was conducted on 206 of them, with 84 men (40.8%), and 122 women (59.2%).
According to this study, kiosk ordering service is easy and convenient, and fast food restaurants with many kiosks use it the most, and the importance of using it should be easy to use and order in a short time. As the introduction of kiosks to restaurants increased, there were kiosk menu ordering noodles, menus, and smartphone QR codes, but now the use of kiosks in small restaurants as well as fast food restaurants is increasing. Nutrition marks can be seen to improve nutritional knowledge for restaurant consumers to choose better products compared to other products, and in addition to nutrition marks, "information on the use of food additives," "whether agricultural ingredients are certified (organic, eco-friendly, etc.), and "caffeine content."
Today, our desire to lead a healthy life is increasing due to higher quality of life and improved standard of living, and as reflected in this popular desire, kiosks provide various forms of food-related information and have a lot of influence on people's behavior, attitudes and perception. The nutrition labeling system is designed to help consumers maintain a healthy diet by selecting reasonable and appropriate foods by providing them with nutritional information about food. There are about 40 nutrients in food, and it is impossible to mark the content of all these nutrients, but nutrition labeling is increasing worldwide. Accordingly, the provision of appropriate information on food will help families and group cafeterias choose food choices. Currently, there is little research on information provided by kiosks (menu information and nutritional information), so it is necessary to actively research on information provided by kiosks, such as nutritional information and menu information.
