자폐범주성장애아동과 지적장애아동의 공동주의 반응행동 비교연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 자폐 범주성 장애아동과 지적장애아동을 대상으로 언어, 노래, 악기 자극이 제시되었을 때 공동주의 반응행동 차이를 알아보고 비교해보고자 실시되였다. 장애전담어린이집에 다니는 미취학 연령 5∼8세 자폐 범주성 장애아동 10명과 지적장애아동 10명을 대상으로 3가지 종류의 자극인 언어자극, 노래자극, 악기자극을 제시하여 자극에 따른 자폐 범주성 장애아동과 지적장애아동의 공동주의 반응행중 시선 따르기 행동의 반응을 비교하였다. 연구 결과를 살펴보면, 언어, 노래, 악기 자극 간에 유의미한 차이가 나타났으며, 특히 지적장애아동은 세 자극간 반응에는 큰 차이가 없었으나 세 자극 모두 자폐 범주성 장애아동에 비해 반응수준이 높았으며, 자폐 범주성 장애아동의 경우 악기>노래>언어 순서의 반응을 보였을 뿐 아니라 세 자극간의 차이도 크게 나타났다. 특히, 언어자극에 가장 낮은 반응을 보인 반면 악기자극에는 가장 높은 반응을 보였다. 지적장애아동과 자폐 범주성 장애아동은 자극간의 유의미한 차이와 함께 악기자극이 가장 높은 반응을 유도하는 자극임을 확인하였다. 이러한 연구 결과를 통해 음악자극이 자폐아동과 지적장애아동의 공동주의 행동에 긍정적인 영향을 주며 그 중 악기자극을 사용한 중재는 다른 사람에게 주의를 갖도록 하는 중재도구로 효과적으로 활용 될 수 있음을 시사한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is to compare the joint attention behaviors between children with intellectual disability and children with Autism Spectrum Disorders(ASD) when they are exposed to stimuli including language, songs, and musical instrument. The subjects were two groups of preschool children- 10 of each with intellectual disability and autism respectively- who attended a special nursery school in Busan. All children attended the experimental procedures of three different stimulus: 1) verbal stimulus, 2) song (short melodic verbal stimulus), and 3) rhythmic instrument stimulus. Results showed that children with intellectual disability presented high response of 50% for all three stimuli while children with ASD responded with more variance among stimuli, and the impact of the stimulus for both groups was presented as stronger in the following order: musical instrument> songs> language. Overall, musical stimulus (melodic song, musical instrument) have a positive results on responses to joint attention, and it implies that integration of musical elements including instruments and songs could enhance the efficiency of joint attention training.
