The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the mediating effects of job autonomy on the relationship between team leaders’ transformational leadership and new employees’ adaptive performance. To do this, this study was conducted on 285 new employees. The results are as follows. First, transformational leadership of team leader has a positive relationship with new employees’ adaptive performance. Second, transformational leadership of team leader was significant for job autonomy of new employee. Third, in the relationship between team leaders’ transformational leadership and new employees’ adaptive performance, it was confirmed that job autonomy did not have mediating effect.
