또래지도 활동이 수학 학습부진아의 사칙연산 능력과 학습 태도에 미치는 효과 = The Effects of Peers Tutoring Activities to Improve the Four Arithmetical Operations and Learning Attitude of Math Underachievers

The study is to find out effects of peers tutoring activities to improve the four arithmetical operations of math underachievers. The results of this study are as follows;
First, peers tutoring activities working together peer tutee have an positive effects upon the four arithmetical operations of math underachievers.
Second, peers tutoring activities working together peer tutee not only have an positive effects upon learning attitude of math underachievers, but also have an positive effects upon attitude of attention, task performance, teacher direction of math underachievers.
The conclusions based upon the results are as follows;
First, peers tutoring activities have an positive effects upon the four arithmetical operations of math underachievers. Math underachievers have an influence on understanding how to solve problems, due to be formed basic concept as solving the tasks based interaction with peers in the processing of learning.
Second, peers tutoring activities have an positive effects upon learning attitude of math underachievers. Math underachievers who have an un-sufficiency self-confidency and learning attitude, have an positive thought on achievement and self through interaction with peers in the processing of learning. Thus, have an positive effects upon attitude of attention, task
performance, teacher direction of math underachievers.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 또래지도활동이 수학교과에 특히 어려움을 많이 나타내고 있는 수학 학습부진아(Math Underachiever)들의 사칙연산 능력 향상과 학습태도 개선에 효과적인 영향을 미치는지를 밝히는데 목적이 있다. 동급학생의 또래지도자 (peer tutor) 3명과 또래학습자(peer tutee) 3명을 선정하고 조직적인 또래지도활동 프로그램을 7주간 30회기에 걸쳐 실험적용하여 중다 기초선 설계에 의해 검증한 단일사례 실험 연구이다.
연구결과, 또래학습자로 참여한 3명의 수학 학습부진아의 사칙연산능력이 점진적으로 향상되었고 중재 후의 유지효과도 나타났다. 그리고 이들의 학습태도 개선에도 뚜렷한 변화를 보였는데 특히 과제 수행태도가 보다 능동적으로 나타났으며, 주의집중 행동과 교사지시 따르기 행동에도 긍정적인 효과를 나타냈다. 따라서 동급학생 또래지도 활동이 체계적으로 이루어진다면 학습부진아의 인지능력과 학습태도에 효과적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 시사된다.
