Three cases of dermatomyositis are reported in two woman and one man, all about fifty-years old. Clinical symptoms responded well in two cases with the usual dosage of prednisolone, while one case needed additional intravenous methotrexate and methylprednisolone to suppress the symptoms. Muscle biopsy was valuable in one case and non-specific in two cases. Internal malignancy was found in one case. Because of the relative rarity of the disease and subsequent ?ack of reports on detailed therapeutic experience in Korea, we report the three cases with their clinical course and changes in the laboratory data due to the therapeutic regimens.
