임진왜란중 이순신일가의 動態와 이순신의 孝義 = Lee Soonshin family s movement and Lee Soonshin s filial relation during Japan s Invasion of Korea in 1592.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이순신 일가는 임진왜란이 일어나자 1593년 5월 18일~6월 1일 사이에 순천도호부 관내의 여수 고음천에 들어와 거처를 정하고 1597년 4 월 일가가 고향 아산으로 돌아오기까지 약 5년간의 피란생활을 하였 다. 이순신 일가가 순천도호부 관내의 여수 고음천에서 피란생활을 하게 된 것은 전쟁이 장기적으로 접어드는 시점에 이르자 이순신은 그의 모친이 팔순에 가까워 임종이 머지않았음을 염려하여 어머니를 안전한 곳으로 거주케 하고자 하였다.
이순신 일가의 구성원인 우신(여필) ․ 子姪 ․ 從姪 ․ 노비들에 이르기 까지 끊임없이 전란극복을 위한 활동을 펼쳤으며 이러한 과정에서 어머니에 대한 근심과 가족들에 대한 걱정으로 고민하는 모습을 살펴보 았고 특히, 혈육이 아닌 노비들에게까지 배려하는 세심함을 보였다. 이순신은 전쟁을 지휘하는 수장으로써 뛰어난 통솔력을 발휘하였으며 그로 인해 국가적 위기를 극복할 수 있었다. 그러나 그 이면에는 일가의 가장으로써 겪어야 했던 심적 고통도 극복해야만 했다. 임란중 모친 초계변씨가 죽고 아들 면까지 잃어버려 비통해 하는 이순신의 모습은 오늘날 우리의 모습과 다르지 않다. 다만 자신과의 싸움에서 이겨냈기 때문에 빛나는 戰功을 세울 수 있었다고 여긴다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

When Japan s Invasion of Korea had occurred, Lee Soonshin s family has set their place to stay in Goumcheon, Yeosu under Sooncheon local government office during 18th May ~ 1st June 1593 and went through 5 years of refugee life until they have returned to their home in April 1597. The reason why Lee Soonshin s family undertook refugee life was because the war was had reached the point of becoming a long term war and Lee Soonshin had worried that his mother was going to die soon being nearly 80 years old and that wanted to let his mother live in a safe place.
Members of the Lee Soonshin s family, Wooshin (Yeopil) ․ sons and nephews(子姪) ․ male cousin’s sons(從姪) ․ and even servants had continuously carried out activities to overcome the war. In such situation Lee Soonshin worried concerned about his mother and his family and especially he showed greatest care considering his servants who were not his family. Lee Soonshin displayed excellent leadership as a general of the sea commanding the war and through such leadership Chosun was able to overcome its national crisis. However on the other side he had to overcome the mental pain as a head of a family. The sorrow he had shown when his mother Cho Gyebyun died and he lost his son Myun during the war is not different from the features of us nowadays. I think that he was able to establish an excellent achievement in the war was only because he won the battle with himself.
