This study was performed to identify the characteristics of heavy metals of PM10 and ammonia in Mt. Hagga and Mt. Tonggo. In this study, the average concentraction trend of metallic elements contained in PM10 are shown as follows:
Na>Si>K>Ca>Al>Zn, respectively in both place. The reason that the concentration of Na is highest is the advection of air above the ocean. Most of the metallic elements contained in mountainous area were soil particles that are natural emissions. The concentrations of ammonia were about 4 ㎍/m^3 in both place and higher than that of at silla University. This is because of decomposition of the excretion by soil bacteria.
