컴퓨터 용어의 효율적인 한글화를 위한 인지심리학적 고찰 : 안·밖의 합치도 원리 모형의 접근 = Cognitive Psychological Considerations for Effcient Translation of English Computer Terms into Korean Ones

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The present paper proposes some considerations for efficient translation of English computer terms into Korean ones from the viewpoint of cognitive psychology. Especially, the considerations are discussed from the viewpoint of Inner-Outer Compatibility Principle Model, which was suggested as a conceptual framework for explaining human information processing in general. According to Inner-Outer Compatibility Principle Model, translating English computer terms into Korean ones efficiently is increasing inner-outer compatibility between the user and the computer terms for a specific purpose. The present paper suggests some possible purposes in the translation of English computer terms into Korean ones and actual research methods for each Purpose.
