The purpose of this study is to analyze whether lifelong education can affect the self-esteem and happiness of developmental disabilities.<BR/>The subjects of the study were 458 people with developmental disabilities who responded to the variables to be used in the 2023 Work and Life Cohort Survey Panel Data for People with Developmental Disabilities provided by the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled. The analysis method was descriptive statistics and propensity score matching, multiple regression analysis using SPSS 25.0.<BR/>The results are as follows. First, the group was divided into a group that experienced lifelong education and a group that did not experience lifelong education through personality matching analysis, and the equality between the groups was secured through a t-test. Second, lifelong education had a positive effect on the self-esteem of people with developmental disabilities, and the analysis after personality score matching confirmed that it had a greater positive effect than other factors. Third, the experience of lifelong education did not affect the happiness of people with developmental disabilities.<BR/>Through this analysis, it was proven that lifelong education has a more positive effect on the self-esteem of people with developmental disabilities than other factors, and while it did not affect happiness, it suggested the requirements necessary for quality lifelong education in the future.
