한국철학 : 박종홍 철학에 대한 비판적 연구 = Korean Philosophy : Park Chong-hong`s Critical Research On Philosophy

Since the Japanese Imperialism have colonized Korea, the Korean Philosophy have been made up the methode of a metaphysical ontology. It was Park Chong-hong who had an effect upon this methode. In the introductions of to the korean philosophy, Park Chong-hong`s philosophy have been referred to it for the most part. His philosophical characteristic is divided into three. The first, he had been infused the Confucianism into his mind in his childhood, it has values that they are loyal to a their king and dutiful to their parents. And in the Japanese Imperialism, he had been implanted the ontology of ambiguous Zhong(中; moderation) in his mind. Therefore his philosophy has no antagonism between japanese rulers and korean people, a logic of independence. He maintained that Li(理; principle) is Qi(氣; matter), Wu(無; nothing)is You(有; being), Wang(往; going) is Gui(歸; returning), his logic was that A defeat is a victory, death is life, dependent is independent-the philosophy for the japanese. The second, in a period of American Military Administration after Japanese Imperialism had been defeated, he acted in concert with American Military Administration, and actively he approved of American Military Administration`s educational plans, which disguised Gyeongseong Imperial University as National Seoul University. And he was re-educated with research funds in America. After he returned home, he educated students the truth of American Pragmatism for the America`s profits. Accordingly in a period of the national unity after the korean nation`s liberation, instead of monistic entity, he insisted a hostile philosophy to the extreme degree, that is freedom? or communism?, finally he obstructed the national unity. The third, he admired Park Jeong-hui`s Military Administration with the logic of Japanese Imperialism. It was the logic of Die honorably for the Holy War, Japanese Imperialism mobilized youthful korean students by the slogan. And he made the National Charter of Education, laid the foundation of Anti-Communism thoughts that regarded all the northern korean as an enemy. As mentioned above, his philosophy became the general knowledge by his students, they have occupied professor position of university throughout the nation. In spite of Cold War`s collapse and the korean democracy, owing to the feudal academic relation between he and his students, until today his contradictional philosophy have not been criticized. Now we must criticize following opportunism of scholars in Japanese Imperialism, American Military Administration, and Park Jeong-hui`s Military Dictatorship. And we must discuss the new humanities, that is the critical philosophy, based on realistic politics and economics.
