구글트렌드를 이용한 스마트 스피커 시장 분석과 예측

국문 초록 (Abstract)

현대인들은 스마트폰 속 스마트 어시스턴스를 하나씩 소유하고 편리하게 사용하고 있으며 나아가 공상과학영화에서나 등장하던 스마트 홈은 오늘날 현실로 다가오고 있다. Amazon의 Echo, Google의 GoogleHome과 최근 출시된 Apple의 HomePod과 같은 스마트 스피커는 스마트 홈으로 나아가는데 있어서 중계기 역할을 수행할 것으로 판단되고 있다. 이러한 스마트 스피커 시장에서 가장 먼저 출시된 Amazon의 Echo가 시장의 과반 이상을 장악하고 있으며 그 뒤로 Google의 GoogleHome이 바짝 추격하고 있다. 스마트 스피커 시장에서 점유율이 높은 제품은 호환 가능한 IOT기기들이 많이 출시되기 때문에 상당히 큰 의미를 가지고 있다. 이 논문에서는 구글트렌드에서 스마트 스피커에 대한 검색량을 바탕으로 ARIMA모델을 통해 스마트 스피커 시장을 분석하고 향후 시장을 예측할 것이다. 시장을 분석하고 ARIMA모델을 통해 예측한 결과 Google의 GoogleHome이 Amazon의 Echo의 시장 점유율을 능가할 것이라는 결과를 보였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Modern people own Smart Assistance, one after the other and convenient use of Smart Home, which has once appeared in science fiction movies, is coming to reality today. Smart speakers such as Amazon"s Echo, Google"s GoogleHome and recently launched Apple"s HomePod are expected to act as repeaters in moving to a Smart Home. Amazon"s Echo, the first of its kind in the smart speaker market, dominates more than half of the market, followed by Google"s GoogleHome. Products with a high share of the smart speaker market have significant implications based on the availability of many compatible IOT devices. In this paper, we have analyzed smart speaker market through ARIMA model based on search volume of smart speaker products in Google Trend and attempted to predict the future market. It is hypothesized that after analyzing the market and forecasting through the ARIMA model, Google"s Google Home will surpass Amazon"s market share.
