지각된 아버지 양육태도와 학교생활적응 관계에서의 지도교수의 지도성유형의 매개효과 검증 = The Mediating Effect of an Advisor’s Leadership Type in the Relationship of the Paternal Rearing Attitude and School Adjustment

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 공과대 대학원생이 지각한 아버지 양육태도가 지도교수의 지도성유형을 매개로 했을 때, 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향력을 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해, 193명의 공과대 대학원생들에게 부모-자녀결합 형태검사(PBI), 지도자 행동 기술 질문지(LBDQ), 학교생활 적응에 관한 검사지를 실시하였다. 각 변인 간의 관계를 알아보기 위해 변인 간 상관분석을 실시하였고, AMOS 18.0을 사용하여 구조방정식 모형(SEM)으로 아버지 양육태도와 학교생활적응간의 관계에서 지도교수의 지도성유형의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 분석 결과, 아버지 돌봄은 지도성유형인 인화주도성, 과업주도성과 각각 유의한 정적 상관을 나타냈고, 아버지 과보호는 인화주도성과 부적상관을 나타냈으며, 지도교수의 두 가지 지도성유형 모두 학교생활적응과 유의미한 정적상관을 나타냈다. 또한, 아버지 돌봄과 학교생활적응간의 관계에서 지도교수의 인화주도성 유형이 완전매개 하는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 본 연구의 결과들을 바탕으로 하여 대학원 차원에서 지도교수의 지도성 개선에 대한 함의와 본 연구의 제한점 및 후속연구에 대한 제안 등을 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The present study examined the effect of paternal rearing attitude on a engineering graduate student’s school adjustment when advisor's leadership types were mediated. A total 193 engineering graduate students answered questionnaires of Parental Bonding Instrument(PBI), Leader Behavior Description Questionnaire(LBDQ) and school behavior test. To identify the relationship among variables, correlation analysis was conducted. The mediating effect of advisor's leadership types in the relationship between paternal rearing attitude and school adjustment was investigated using Amos 18.0 in the frame work of structure equation model(SEM). The results indicated that paternal caring was positively correlated with harmony-oriented and task-oriented advisor's leadership types while paternal over-protection was negatively correlated with harmony-oriented advisor's leadership type. Both advisors' leadership types mentioned above were positively correlated with school adjustment. In addition, harmony-oriented advisor's leadership type fully mediated in the relationship between paternal caring and school adjustment. Lastly, the implications for improvement regarding advisor's leadership, limitations and suggestions for future research are discussed based on the study results.
