전근대 한반도 곤충 기록에 대한 생태계서비스 분석 = An Ecosystem Service Analysis of the Insect Record of the Korean Peninsula in the Pre-modern Era

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Insects are widely used in humans as food, medicine, aesthetic, and educational values, but they tend to be perceived as pests in that they need plants like humans in the food chain. This study looked at changes in the perception of insects on the Korean Peninsula through records in history. The history books selected the dynasties, medical books, and rheological documents. This was analyzed in terms of supply, control, culture, and support services, which are the four tools of ecosystem services.
As a result of an analysis of the perception of insects recorded in history, Provisioning services were the most common, followed by Cultural services and Regulating services. There was no awareness of insects as Support services. Over time, we could see that the natural science and cultural perception of insects has expanded. Support services are a prerequisite for deriving supply, control, and cultural services, and are difficult to be recognized because the effects of humans are indirect and occur slowly over a long period of time.
