Through the series of Laboratory tests and field surrey the author has studied, the effect of ghost interference on received TV picture.
It turned out that for the normal Spectator, the minimum allowable reflected wave is -25dB at the ghost delay time of 0.8㎲, and that in most case, the significant ghost waves are earth from the 50'^70' degree azimuth with respect to the direct wave the auther then, studies the characterities of conventional Ya Gi antenna and points out its inpropriety in directly rejecting the ghost waves because of it's poor and gain.
A specially designed Log-periodic antenna for TV Band with 13dB gain and high side robe attenuation is proved by the author to be efficient for this purpose: through the field tests.
