This study examined the effects of parents' personal character variables on faith formation of their children. The 323 subjects of this study were parents of 3-5 years old children in local churches. The instrument was validated in an antecedent study and used after testing for reliability. Data were analyzed by qualification methods and one way ANOVA analysis using the SPSS 12.0 program. Frequency of family service, Discussion of faith issues with children, Participation in parent Christian education, Educational interests were significant differences factors of parents' personal variables such as MotaeShinAng' those born in Christian family, Duration of Christian life, Family conflicts on faith, and Responsible position of local church. These findings suggest that parents personal character variables based on the past did not positively contribute to the faith formation of children.
