Analysis Difference in Psychological Skill by Playing Levels of Golfers

This thesis aims to an Analysis Difference in Psychological Skill by Playing Levels of Golfers, age and career, and education background by measuring the player's psychological skills that are used in the middle of games or exercising.

In order for this, 80 golf players are selected from pro golf, prospective and nomal golf players. The totals of 56 questionnaires are used except 24 insincere ones. The questionnaire of 'The Development of a Psychological Skill Scale for Golfers' made by Woo Chan-myeong was used for this study to measure psychological skill of the golf players. According to the purpose of analysis, T-test and ANOVA are applied for the returned questionnaires, and for the future examination, Scheffe test is Used. Following is the results from the analysis and the examination.

1) difference of psychological skill by age
Age is high, psychological skill point was high, and uneasiness point is low than group which more than 40 ages is different, and point of the control of a mental image, pride, possession and deffierent surnames regulation was high.

2) difference of psychological skill by level of education
for the different psychological skills by level of education , the level of the control of a mental image shows a significant difference in each group but not significant difference is found in other factors.

3) difference of psychological skill by career
Psychological skill point was high have much careers, and uneasiness point of career was low in Mr. Lee 10 years, and way of challenge, the control of a mental image and possession point was high.

4) difference of psychological skill that ensue in function level
Psychological skill point of pro players was high therefore in function level, and uneasiness point of pro players is low, and point of challenge profit-taking, the control of a mental image, pride and possession was high.
