관광전공 대학생의 현장실습 스트레스가 현장실습 만족도와 진로결정에 미치는 영향 = The Impact of the Internship Stress on the Satisfaction and Career Decision Making for Tourism Students

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of internship stress on the satisfaction and career decision making for tourism students. A total of 284 questionnaires were used as the final analysis data using SPSS 24.0 statistical program. The validity of the hypothesis was tested by multiple regression analysis and the results are as follows. First, there was a statistically significant correlation between internship stress(role conflict & ambiguity, Job characteristics) and internship satisfaction except role overload. Second, it was found that the internship satisfaction had positive influence on career decision making. Based on the results of this study, the implications are as follows. First, it is essential to identify how to deal with internship stress for tourism students to maximize the effectiveness of the internship program. Second, through this systematic study on the internship stress, basic data could be provided to the academia and the companies to increase the degree of career decision in the major field.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 관광전공 대학생의 현장실습 스트레스 요인을 규명하고 어떤 스트레스 요인이 실습만족과 진로결정에 영향을 미치는지 분석하는 것이다. 연구의 표본은 국내 4개 공항(D국제공항, I국제공항, J국제공항, 그리고 U공항 ), 국내 8개 호텔(제주HB호텔, 제주HY호텔, I호텔, 제주L호텔, 제주M호텔, PI호텔, 제주S호텔, 제주W호텔), 그 외 리조트, 여행사, 컨벤션센타, 크루즈, 카페 등에서 현장 실습 및 인턴을 한 4년제 대학과 2년제 대학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 총 284부의 자료를 최종 분석 자료로 활용하였으며, 수집된 자료의 분석은 SPSS 24 통계프로그램을 사용하여 빈도분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관관계분석과 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 첫째, 관광전공 대학생의 현장실습 스트레스(역할과다, 역할갈등과 모호성, 과제특성요인)의 3개요인 중 역할과다(기각)을 제외한 역할갈등과 모호성(-), 과제특성요인(-)이 실습만족에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다(H1). 둘째, 현장실습 만족도는 진로결정에 유의한 정(+)의 영향이 나타났다(H2). 위와 같은 결론을 바탕으로 현장실습 스트레스에 효과적으로 대처할 수 있는 방안을 체계적으로 마련하여 실습 만족도를 향상시키고 전공분야의 진로결정의도를 증가시키도록 학계와 업체에 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.
