      Bojo-Chinul(1158-1210) established his theory through antagonism between the zen and schoolar busshism at that time, and received Kanwhasun. Through Kanwhasun reception, he supplements the past theory of himself. In one case, Chinul's Kanwhasun is use for high-class's sudden-enlightenment. In the other case, it is used for middle or low class's sudden-enlightenment. In this way, Chinul's Kanwhasun is different from Daehye-Jonggo's(1089-1163) one at the critical mind.
      Such a Feature of Chinul's Kanwhasun have something to do with the other mins-cultivation way. In Samadhi and Prajna simultaneous cultivation, he also assert jaseong-Samadhi and Prajna and susang-Samadhi and Prajna at the same time. Chinul apply high way to high level and low way to low level. Such a Chinul's feature apply to Kanwhasun, too.
      And Chinul criticize intensely hwaeom scholarship in ganwhagyeoluiron. Even though hwaeom scholarship have the elaborate theoretical structure, the theory is only intellectual obstacle which is not enlightened. In this way, Chinul advise hwaeom scholar to eliminate intellectual obstacle through the Kanwhasun.
      Chinul's Kanwhasun have been connected with the best of his student, Jingak-Hyesim(1178-1234). Structure of Hyesim's thoghts is different from Chinul's one. Chinul asserted the trio way system. It's sungjeok-deungjimun, wondon-sinhaemun, and kanwha-kyungjulmun. On the other hand, Hyesim assert only Kanwhasun, kanwha-kyungjulmun. Hyesim imply Chinul's trio-way to one way, Kanwhasun.
      Chinul is important monk and philosopher in Korean philosophic view. He reconciled zen with scholar buddhism and builded its theoretical foundation. Also, he accepted the most important mind-cultivation of Korean zen buddhism, Kanwhasun which is analyze in creative and unique view. Thus Chinul is very important keyword for Korean philosophy's understanding.
