耕地整理 效果에 關한 考察 = A Research on the Effect of Readjusement Arable Lands

Scant of our country's cultivated field area scale in case of the works of readjustment of arable lands which are performing positively on the economic development plan, and efficiency and method of readjustment of arable lands which are performing up to the present, are as follows.
1. The area of readjusted arable lands which is 177,279hectares, becomes 9.1 percent of our country's paddy field. But disposal of exchange land which is the accomplished part of this project, is slack with 25.3 percent of the worked area since 1955.
2. Our country's cultivated field area per a farm-house is zero point nine o seven(0.907) hectares, the proportion of the number of farm-house within one hectare is 67.6 percent. the number of farm-houses within one hectare is 67.6 percent, the number of blocks is on an average, five point eight, and the greater part of those is farther apart than 500 meters, consequently these show us scantiness.
3. Readjustment of arable lands prompts to diminish the number of blocks with 34 percent, and to reduce 3.2 personal labours for 10 ares. It makes the cultivated lands two-crops in 78 percent with 28.8 percent increased yield as well as getting land-price increased with twenty three percent.
4. Working expenses invested have a differences between 9,005 won per 10 area under 50 hectares and 6,411 won per 10 areas for 150 hectares and more. Also it increases with 30 percent annually-3,795 won in 1954, 5,464 won in 1955, 7,731 won in 1956, 11,459 won in 1957.
5. Farmers must be enlightened and directed contents and effects of this poroject in order to drive voluntarily.
6. The number of engineers engaging in the project must be increased and educated thoroughly so as to be smooth.
7. Priority in the selection of a works district is given to the most economical flat-field.
8. A man had better perform both an investigated survey and a fixed surv-ey. so that expense and time are saved.
9. Disposal of exchange land have to perform in next year immediately after the accomplishment of execution certainly.
10. Financial resource of working expenses must increase a government subsidy and decrease a local charge simultaneously, and all executive authorities being followed by security of economic resources must be transferred must to the bureau office of supervising project so as to be smooth.
