This paper presents a quantum mechanical perspective on the mathematical and physical aspects that have been considered obscure in Yi-sang's poetry. Despite being a writer from a science background, there has been an issue with most of the research conducted on Yi-sang work being carried out by literary scholars. Many of his poems draw on scientific knowledge, yet even with the accumulation of rigorous prior research, it is still challenging to claim that his texts have completely transcended their notorious complexity. Nevertheless, there have been a series of attempts that particularly approached his work through mathematics and the theory of relativity. As a result, Yi-sang's research opened up new perspectives, and this study focuses on one such point of view, employing quantum mechanics. Quantum mechanics, although considered a fringe science compared to the theory of relativity between the years 1900 and the 1920s, serves as a theoretical foundation for Yi-sang, providing a new breakthrough platform to express esprit.
In Yi-sang's poetic texts, the quantum mechanical world operates as a mechanism that encompasses various aspects of his unconsciousness. The quantum mechanical world operating within this diverse range of unconscious aspects is closely related to his contemporary physics knowledge and the system of self-consciousness and dream awareness. Therefore, it is essential to note that the cultivated knowledge in a specific field of the author has partially or significantly influenced the author's unconsciousness.
Furthermore, Yi-sang's unconsciousness is observed through the mechanism of dream awareness, which is presumed to belong to Yi-sang himself. It is diagnosed as the diverse aspects of desires that Yi-sang possesses, desires that could not emerge as a result of the principles of reality surfacing through sleep. These various aspects of desires are analyzed as projections onto the veil of unconsciousness during the process of dream awareness. Examining the various aspects of Yi-sang's poetic texts based on the principles of quantum mechanics, the following breakdown can be made in terms of the contemplative process of this paper:
"Ⅰ. Research Method" applies key concepts such as the 5-dimensional tetrahedron and dimensional viewpoints. The 4/5-dimensional viewpoint (separation and union mechanism) and the 5/6-dimensional viewpoint (union and separation mechanism) become essential methodologies for understanding the hallucinatory mechanism and hallucinatory language in Yi-sang's poetry. The "separation and union mechanism" distinguishes the mythological and reductionist aspects of Yi-sang's unconsciousness, while the "union and separation mechanism" serves as a methodology to decipher the existential consciousness and investigative spirit involved in Yi-sang's unconsciousness.
"Ⅱ. The Application of the Theory of Relativity and Quantum Mechanics to Yi-sang's Poetic World" is a chapter where specialized interpretations of the ideal cosmology, created in conjunction with the civilization of science, take place. The 7-part series "Book of Perception Regarding Lines" The title of the poem "Book of Perception Regarding Lines" is the researcher's second short thesis "The Meaning of the Five-dimension and the Symmetry and Probability of Quantum- In Matrix in the Poems by Yi-Sang)" (2022.5), it is revealed that it has been translated into "The Memo of the Line". One thing to note is that "Line" or "Lines" in the English title is a direct translation, and if paraphrased, it can be translated as "Ray" because "Line" means "ray" in the context of the poem. will be.
Is a prophecy of human future written with the sensibilities of a science-oriented individual, thoroughly embracing the new era. The quantumization of the human body occurs due to the emission and collapse of quantum units resulting from superluminal motion. Yi-sang mentions that through movements faster than light, collapsing into quantum states, there is a need for a kind of quantum psychological attitude that time travelers at superluminal speeds must be aware of when encountering their own avatars. Additionally, the world operates as a mechanism that unfolds through "The Name of Vision," which is intimately connected to the origin and constantly subjected to the uncertainty presented in every moment.
"Ⅲ. Particleization of the Unconscious Wave, Dream Awareness Mechanism" explores the powerful implication of "Ogamdo: Poem No. 1" as a hint towards dream awareness, while "Ogamdo: Poem No. 8 Anatomy" serves as a meticulous design to test the mechanism of dream awareness. If "Ogamdo: Poem No. 1" was a phenomenology hinting at the symmetry of cosmic forces that operate simultaneously across all directions in the four-dimensional real world, "Ogamdo: Poem No. 8 Anatomy" becomes a structural and methodological approach to examine the mechanism capable of observing the four-dimensional real world. The unconsciousness is the interpreted entity in Yi-sang's poetic world, consciousness is the creative self that becomes paralyzed, and the semiconsciousness is the observer or the one who describes it while observing.
"Ⅳ. Quantum Field and the Field of Semiconsciousness" implies that the universe, represented by a matrix notation (the aspect of Yi-sang's unconsciousness observed by semiconsciousness), is a world where matter and antimatter form a symmetrical relationship. Yi-sang's advanced notation indicates this. Yi-sang's poetic world is a language of the unconsciousness that has caught the attention of the infinite. The issue with Yi-sang's poetry lies in the fact that it was translated using our dimensional language, which cannot fully capture his unconsciousness, leading to the manipulation of our dimensional language to create his artificial language. If dream symptoms have become tools for Yi-sang's creation, then it is also expected that this mechanism can function as a tool for deconstructing creation in reverse. Yi-sang envisions the model of the universe as a triangular design in three dimensions, where the order increases or decreases step by step.
Yi-sang told his real name Hae-kyeong Kim that his unconsciousness was the universe within himself and a fractal of the external universe. He struggled to confront and penetrate the unknown world. Living in an era where science became the universally valid spirit of humanity, he desired to deepen his knowledge of advanced physics and observe his inner landscape through the principles of advanced physics absorbed into his self-consciousness. To him, observation was the hidden reality behind the apparent reality, and the apparent reality behind the hidden reality, an experimental spirit that transcended dimensions. The energy fervently consumed throughout this process also became the energy of physical collapse caused by a fatal infection. His language was a simultaneous overlapping of the unconsciousness and semiconsciousness, a language of the illusory reality that our dimensional language could not fully encompass. Pushing the state of creative paralysis into creation, he observed his unrecognized counterparts from the convergence of the unconsciousness, serving as both a guide in describing self-consciousness after dreams and awakening and a clandestine interpreter. Quantum language, serving as the substance and medium of his body and mind, propelled him from being a modern individual to a contemporary one. His brain, the battleground and quantum field where his body and mind were fervently consumed, ensured that the text is always observed by the interpreter of tomorrow.
