This research aims to observe the satisfaction on general nurturing desire about children upbringing and nursery home management of working mothers and providing basic data for increase in numbers of public nursery homes and bringing quality improvement of nursery service with working mothers who are guests of public nursery homes as subjects.
The subjects of this research are working mothers who send their children to public nursery homes in the Ulsan area, and this research is on satisfaction of working mothers on public nursery homes. With 6 public nursery homes located in 3 districts (Namgu, Bukgu, Donggu) within the Ulsan area as subjects, 320 questionnaires were distributed to 3 nursery homes un Namgu, 2 nursery homes in Bukgu, and 2 nursery homes in Donggu, and 281 were retrieved. As a result of revising the retrieved questionnaires, excluding 33 which were not properly checked or unclear, 248 were used as final analysis subjects.
In this research, the measuring tools used by Kim Jieun (2004), Park Suk young (2005), and Kim Jungja (2006) were used as samples.
The method for treatment of data for this research is as follows.
First, frequency analysis for observing respondent's general features were put in practice.
Second, trust assessment on management, quality of nursery service, quality of nursery program, health, nutrition, hygiene, safety, physical environment were practiced, and trust for each section was measured, and predictability, accuracy were observed, and trust figure was judged by Cronbach's parameter.
Third, in order to find out the average and standard deviation for management, quality of nursery service, quality of nursery program, health, nutrition, hygiene, safety, physical environment, technological statistic analysis was practiced.
Fourth, to observe the difference in self-efficacy following the institution's moving in form, employment form, institution's management, and re-education related work, the t-test and one-way ANOVA was practiced, and through Duncan's multiple range test, we inspected the notable difference at p<0.05.
Fifth, to observe the relationship between management, quality of nursery service, quality of nursery program, health, nutrition, hygiene, safety, physical environment, coefficient analysis was practiced, and to find out the effects of management, quality of nursery program, health, nutrition, hygiene, safety, physical environment on quality of nursery service, and to find out the effects of management, quality of nursery service, health, nutrition, hygiene, safety, physical environment on quality of nursery program, multiple regression analysis was practiced. Sixth, the proof analysis of this research was verified at a 5% confidence level, and for the statistical deal, SPSSWIN 12.0 program was used for analysis. The conclusion of this research is as follows.
When observing the demographi - 81 -c sociological features of the parents on the usage satisfaction rate following the general feature of the public nursery homes, the age groups '30~34 years' showed the highest of 68%, and the highest group of education level was university graduate of 60.7%. The monthly wage group that appeared highest was 'above 2.5 million won' with 77.0%, number of children group that appeared highest was 2 with 65.6%, profession group that appeared highest was sales with 27.5%, and the reason for choosing the nursery home that appeared highest was 'recommendation from acquiaintance' with 42.3%, the factor that parents were concerned with the most was 'accidents regarding safety' with 58.1%, opinion on the nursery home charge that appeared most was 'should be a part of manadatory education supported by government' with 91.9%, and in due to the management of public nursery homes a low satisfaction rate of .579 showed, and as for satisfaction on management, quality of nursery service, quality of nursery program, health, nutrition, hygiene, safety, and physical environment, it showed a high rate of above .775. -ⅵ-Based on these results, by supplementing children nurtuing functions to working mothers using the public nursery homes, working mothers should be relieved and be able to focus on their work, and to contribute to development of public nursery homes, I therefore provide basic data for the quality improvement of nursery service that responds to the satisfaction of the desires of working mothers.
