      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      The use of diesel engine causes environmental problems such as global warming and greenhouse effect. For this reason, the research for biodiesel fuel and development of common rail engine is necessary. Especially, the study for effect of emission composition from engine to atmosphere is increasing. In this paper, emission from a common rail diesel engine with 5 hole and 6 hole injectors were compared and analyzed. Besides, the concentration of emissions (HC, CO₂, NOx) according to biodiesel fuel content (0%, 10%,20%, 30%) was measured. As a result, the efficiency of 6 hole injector is higher than that of 5 hole injector on emission reduction. The performance of common rail engine increased with biodiesel fuel contents increment from 0% to 30%, but, it can be seen that the efficiency of engine can maintain properly when the concentration of biodiesel is smaller than 10%.
