통일사상의 사랑론 정립을 위한 연구 : 에리히 프롬의 사랑론을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

통일사상의 사랑론 정립을 위해 본 연구는 에리히 프롬의 사랑론을 기초로 『통일 사상요강』에서 사랑에 대해 설명한 여러 부분들을 정리한 후 통일사상 사랑론 정립 을 위한 논의와 제언을 하고자 하였다. 연구결과, 에리히 프롬의 사랑론과 통일사상의 사랑 이해는 ①사랑은 감정이 아니라 실존의 문제이며, ②사랑은 받는 것이 아니라 주는 것으로 ③사랑할 수 있는 능력을 갖추 기 위해 노력해야 한다 등 여러 면에서 공통점이 많았다. 그러나 프롬의 사랑론은 개인을 중심으로 서술하는데 비해 통일사상은 사랑을 가정을 중심으로 서술하고 있어 개인화된 현대사회에서 현실적인 제언으로 다가가는 데 한계를 가질 수 있다. 또한 프롬의 사랑론 은 사랑의 기술이라는 용어로 사랑의 능력을 키워야 한다는 것이 제시되는 데 비해 통일 사상은 사랑의 실천적 방안이 강조되지 않아 추상적으로 느껴질 수 있다. 이러한 논의를 고려하여 현대사회의 난문제를 해결하기 위한 통일사상의 사랑론을 정립해야 할 것이며 실천적 윤리와 교육, 캠페인 등이 전개되어야 할 것으로 제언하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In order to establish the theory of love in Unification Thought, this study organized various aspects of love explained in the 『Essential of Unification Thought』 based on Erich Fromm's theory of love. The study then attempted to discuss and make suggestions for establishing the theory of love in Unification Thought. As a result of the study, Erich Fromm's theory of love and Unification Thought's understanding of love had many aspects in common, such as: ① love is not an emotion but a matter of existence, ② love is something that is given rather than received, and ③ one must strive to have the ability to love. However, while Fromm's theory of love describes love as centered on the individual, Unification Thought describes love as centered on the family, which may have limitations in providing realistic suggestions in the personalized modern society. Considering these discussions, it was suggested that the theory of love in Unification Thought should be established to solve the difficult problems of modern society, and that practical ethics, education, and campaigns should be developed based on this.
