      This study examined the impact of abusive supervision on the job satisfaction of beauty-related workers through the mediating effect of job stress. Data were collected from beauty-related workers in China from June 05 to June 26, 2023, and analysis of 352 questionnaires was performed using SPSS 23.0 software. Descriptive statistics, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, linear regression analysis, and multiple regression analysis were included in the analysis. Abusive supervision had a significant positive effect on job stress, and a significant negative effect on job satisfaction of beauty workers. In addition, job stress can have a significant mediating effect in the relationship between abusive supervision and job satisfaction among beauty shop employees, and the findings of this study demonstrated that job stress is a mediating variable that can reduce job satisfaction. Excessive abusive supervision management will increase employee stress, thereby reducing the satisfaction of beauty-related workers. The findings of this study are expected to be helpful in identifying problems caused by abusive supervision and in devising solutions. This research can also be regarded as a theoretical resource for academic study.
