성인학습자들의 사이버대학 교육내용 만족도와 학교관심도 = Adult Learners’ Satisfaction with Cyber University Education Content and School Interest

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 학위과정 성인학습자들의 사이버대학 교육내용 만족도와 학교관심도를 파악하는 것을 목적으로 실시하였다. 이를 위해 1개 사이버대학교 학위과정 성인학습자 2044명을 대상으로 교육만족도에 대한 온라인 설문조사 자료를 사용하여, 연구대상자 특성에 따라 교차분석, t-test, 분산분석(ANOVA), 다중회귀분석을 하였다. 연구 결과 사이버대학 학습과정에 가장 기대하는 것은 ‘전공공부’라고 하였고, 가장 어려운 점은 ‘시간관리 어려움’이라고 하였다. 교육내용 만족도는 연령대에서만 유의한 차이를 보였으며, 학교관심도는 성인학습자들의 일반적 특성에 따른 유의한 차이가 확인되지 않았다. 교육내용 만족도 중 ‘교육과정’과 ‘학습전략과 진로탐색’에 대한 만족도가 유의하게 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 사이버대학의 성인학습자 교육정책 수립에는 교육과정 구성요소의 중요성이 제기된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to understand the degree program adult learners' satisfaction with cyber university education content and school interest. To this end, we used data from an online survey on educational satisfaction among 2,044 adult learners in a degree program at one cyber university. Chi-square test, t-test, analysis of variance(ANOVA), and multiple regression analysis were performed according to the characteristics of the study participants. The results revealed that the most anticipated aspect of the cyber university learning process was 'study of majors', and the most difficult point was ‘difficulty in time management’. A significant difference in satisfaction with educational content was found only across age groups, while no significant difference in school interest was observed according to the general characteristics of adult learners. Satisfaction with 'curriculum' and 'learning strategies and career exploration' among educational content satisfaction was found to have a significant positive effect. Based on these results, the importance of curriculum components is emphasized in the establishment of education policies for adult learners at cyber universities.
