중국인유학생의 인생태도가 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향 = Effect of Chinese Students’ Life Position on Adaptation to College Life

국문 초록 (Abstract)

중국인유학생의 인생태도가 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향
본 연구는 중국인유학생을 대상으로 인생태도가 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향을 살펴봄으로써, 중국인 유학생의 인생태도를 분석하여 자존감 향상과 대학생활적응을 높이고, 인생태도 향상을 통해 모든 이들이 행복한 삶을 영위할 수 있도록 도모하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 G광역시에 소재하고 있는 H대학교의 중국인 유학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 학과와는 관계없이 중국에 유학한지 1년 이상이 된 학생 171명을 대상으로 인생태도 검사지와 대학생활적응척도를 실시하였다. 연구도구는 인생태도 검사지와 대학생활적응척도를 비교하여 관계를 알아보았다. 설문조사는 2015년 07월 01일부터 08월 31일까지 2개월에 걸쳐 이루어 졌다. 총 인생태도, 대학생활적응 척도 200부의 설문지를 배포하였는데 회수된 설문지는 192부였다. 이 중 불성실한 응답과 무응답한 설문지 21부를 제외한 인생태도, 대학생활적응 척도 총 171부가 최종적으로 자료 분석으로 사용되었다. 자료처리는 SPSS 21 프로그램을 이용하여 두 검사지의 요인을 분석하고 신뢰도를 파악한 후, 두 검사지의 상관관계 분석과 이변량 분석을 통한 인생태도와 대학생활적응의 상관관계를 보았다. 그 다음으로는 다중회귀분석을 통하여 인생태도 하위변인이 대학생활적응과 대학생활적응의 하위변인을 예언하는 정도에 대해 알아보고자 하였다.
본 연구를 통해 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중국인 유학생의 인생태도 평정척도의 문항내적 일관성 신뢰도 Cronbach a가 .80으로 높은 신뢰수준을 보이고, 대학생활적응 척도의 문항내적 일관성 신뢰도 Cronbach a가 .87로 높은 신뢰수준을 보이는 것으로 나타났다.
둘째, 중국인 유학생의 인생태도에서 친밀한 인관관계를 형성하는 자기긍정과 타인긍정의 학생들은 대학생활 적응에 있어 모든 요인에서 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것을 의미하였으며, 반면 인생태도에서 삶의 의미를 상실한 자기부정, 타인부정의 학생들은 대학생활 적응에 있어서 모든 요인에서 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
셋째, 중국인 유학생의 인생태도 하위변인이 대학생활적응의 하위변인을 예언하는 정도를 보면 학업적 적응과 사회적 적응은 자기긍정과 유의미한 관계가 있으며 긍정적 영향을 미치지만, 개인-정서적 적응과 대학환경적응의 경우 타인부정과 자기부정에 유의미한 관계가 있지만 부정적 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과를 통해 인생태도는 대학생활 적응에 있어 한국인뿐만 아니라 중국인유학생에게도 유의한 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 중국인유학생의 대학생활 적응을 할 수 있도록 인생태도 검사지를 상담 현장에서 다양하게 활용 할 수 있는 실증적인 근거를 제시하는데 의의가 있다.

Effect of Chinese Students’ Life Position on Adaptation to College Life
This study examines the effect of life position of Chinese students in Korea on their adaptation to college life to improve their self-respect and adaptation to college life through analysis of their life position and promote their happy lives through improvement of their life position. For these purposes, a survey research was carried out with 171 Chinese students of H university in G metropolitan city as subjects who have lived 1 year or longer in Korea regardless of their majors using life position survey questionnaire and college life adaptation scale test. Our research tools examined the relationship by comparing the life position survey questionnaire and college life adaptation scale. The survey took 2 months from July 1, 2015 until Aug 31, 2015. Total 192 questionnaires about life position and college life adaptation were answered and collected out of 200. Among them, 21 were excluded due to unfaithful answers and no answers and the remaining 171 questionnaires were eventually used for data analysis. For data analysis, SPSS 21 program analyzed factors of the two types of questionnaires and grasped reliability, and then, the correlation of the two questionnaires were analyzed and the correlation of life position and college life adaptation was examined through bivariate analysis. After that, a multiple regression analysis looked into how much the subfactors of life position can predict college life adaptation and its subfactors.
The results of this study are as follows. First, the confidence on internal consistency of questions in the scale for life position of Chinese students, Cronbacha, showed high confidence level with .80 and the confidence on internal consistency of questions in the scale for college life adaptation, Cronbacha, showed high confidence level with .80.
Second, in life position of Chinese students, those with ‘I’m OK - You’re OK’ attitude to form familiar relationship showed positive effect on every factor of college life adaptation while those with ‘I’m not OK - You’re not OK’ attitude lacking meaning of life in life position showed negative effect on every factor of college life adaptation. Third, based on the prediction level of subfactors of Chinese students’ life position about the subfactors of college life adaptation, academic adaptation and social adaptation presented significant relationship and positive effective with ‘I’m OK’ attitude, but personal emotional adaptation and college environment adaptation showed significant relationship with ‘You’re not OK’ attitude and ‘I’m not OK’ attitude but were found to have negative effect. Therefore, as a result, we could find that life position has significant effect on college life adaptation of Chinese students as well as Korean students. For better college life adaptation of Chinese students in Korea, this study takes its significance in that it may provide practical foundation to the life attitude questionnaire in the field of counseling in various ways.
