사회복지분야 연구참여자보호 강화 방안에 관한 고찰

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 연구참여자보호에 관한 각 국가의 규제가 강화되는 가운데, 국내의 사회복지분야 연구참여자보호 강화 방안을 제안하는 것이다. 이를 위해 연구윤리 및 연구참여자보호에 관한 국내외 문헌을 검토하고, 손상위험, 취약성, 연구상황을 포괄하는 연구참여자보호 논의의 틀을 제시하였다. 또한 미국 및 영국과 국내 연구거버넌스 비교분석을 통해 연구참여자보호를 위한 함의를 논의하였다. 이러한 논의에 근거해 첫째, 사회복지기관과 사회복지사의 연구참여자보호 책임과 역할의 강화, 둘째, 사회복지학계와 사회복지교육협의회, 사회복지사협회의 협력을 통한 사회복지연구윤리 및 연구참여자보호기준 마련과 적용, 셋째, 정부의 연구윤리규제 및 연구거버넌스에 대한 능동적 대응을 위한 사회복지 내부의 연구, 논의, 연구윤리교육 강화 등을 제안하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to suggest ways to enhance social welfare research subjects protection in Korea. The author reviewed literatures on research ethics and research subjects protection and suggested conceptual framework that integrates risks, vulnerabilities, and specific features of research to enhance social welfare research subjects protection.
This paper also compared the research governance arrangements of the United States, the United Kingdom, and Korea and made suggestions on how to improve social welfare research subjects protection. First, welfare delivery agency and social workers need to enhance their responsibilities to protect research subjects. Second, social welfare academics, Korean Association of Social Welfare Education, and Korean Association of Social Workers have to cooperate to make research subjects protection guidelines and to ensure compliance with those guidelines. Lastly, social welfare profession needs to prepare to participate in and contribute to research ethic committees and research governance as it evolves in Korea.
